The Lined Mackinaw Wool Work Vest is built with our warmest wool, the same that’s provided protection from cold and wet conditions for over a century. Because our Mackinaw Wool is made with only the longest and strongest fibers, naturally it’s the ideal wool to shield humans from soggy or frigid weather. With an uncommonly-tight weave, it’s a formidable barrier to wind, and withstands tough use for decades. Due to wool’s complex fiber structure, it also offers an unheralded benefit—it’s very simple to care for. Dried dirt brushes off with ease, leaving virtually no trace of its existence.
Fortified from the original, this variant of our classic wool vest is lined with lofty fleece that traps even more body heat for comfort in the coldest temperatures. The rib-knit collar is a 75% wool blend for durable warmth against your neck. The pocket arrangement has proven its utility on generations of Filson work vests. Equipped with a dropped tail for added coverage and a zipper-front closure.
